With tickets disappearing in record time to this year’s edition, Tomorrowland has sealed its standing as one of the world’s most desirable festivals. Nearly 200,000 people have now converged on the Flemish town of Boom for a ridiculously huge weekend. Check out our report from a secret site tour. From its volcanic mainstage to the spread of smaller arenas, the festival covers dance music in all its shades, from the biggest names to specialist arenas catering for dubstep, trance, techno, house, drum & bass, hard dance and more.
The live footage will be shot in HD and include sets, interviews and behind-the-scenes coverage. In 2012, a crew of some 173 people ran the stream from a custom-built studio on-site. The YouTube hook-up certainly makes sense, as Tomorrowland’s after-movies have amassed millions of views. With this year’s rapid sell-out and the festival’s most extensive line-up yet, there’ll be many would-be punters tuning in and wishing they were there.
