Come 2014, Argentina will be one of many destinations in which Ultra Music Festival has set foot, after announcing their intention to expand worldwide. In its third year running, Ultra Buenos Aires will take place February 21-22 at Puerto Madero. The two-day festival quietly released its first phase line-up earlier this month, announcing headliners Tiësto and Hardwell, along with Nicky Romero, Paul van Dyk and Steve Aoki.
The recently-released second phase is what really caught our eye. Joining the aforementioned EDM behemoths are festival staples like Showtek, W&W, Pendulum in DJ mode, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano and Ferry Corsten. Those seeking deeper shades of electronic music will be able to see techno superstars Ben Klock, Len Faki, Nicole Moudaber, John Digweed, Monika Kruse and Green Velvet. Check out the poster with the full first two phases below, and stay tuned for more on Ultra Buenos Aires.
In the same month as it travels to Argentina, Ultra will also launch in South Africa, taking place in two different cities over two days; Cape Town on February 14 and Johannesburg on February 15. Then, of course, the countdown is on to the flagship weekender in Miami – refresh your memory on that gargantuan line-up here.
